ARTIST – robin perkins
Robin is a multidisciplinary artist and dedicated arts educator based in Gainesville, Texas. With a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington, her artistic work spans a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, and multimedia. Currently the Visual Arts teacher, Fine Arts Chair at Gainesville High School, and GISD Visual Arts Lead, Robin has played a key role in revitalizing arts education in her district. She actively bridges the school and community through curated exhibitions and her involvement with the Gainesville Area Visual Arts organization.
artist - aubrie perkins
Aubrie is a 2025 graduate of Gainesville High School and the most decorated artist in the school’s history. She served as President of the GHS National Art Honor Society. She has earned numerous local and national awards in visual and photographic arts, including a Scholastic Art & Writing Silver Key and Best of Show at the GISD District-Wide Art Show. She is also one of the first GHS students to advance to the State level of VASE. Aubrie has been awarded over $40,000 in scholarships for her academic and artistic achievements.
artist - melanie jaramillo
Melanie is a 2025 graduate of Gainesville High School and will attend Dallas Baptist University. A leader in both school and church, she served as FCCLA President, Key Club officer, and youth group president, earning top honors like the Superintendent’s Coin of Excellence and multiple culinary, art, and photography awards. She won first place in the Grayson College Pastry Competition and placed second at the Texas Mystery Basket State Competition. Melanie also earned Gold Medals at VASE and was recognized in the Congressional Art Show.
